Pismo Beach Small Wedding – The weather is sometimes unpredictable on the central coast. It can be pouring one day, and bright and sunny the next day.   This was the case this March.   The day before their Pismo Beach small wedding ceremony, we had quite a storm.   But, the day after the rainstorm, this couple was able to celebrate under blue skies, with no rain in sight.   Instead, they exchanged their vows and celebrated their love for each other on a breezy day, overlooking the blue Pacific.

The journey of love for this couple was a very special one.   Neil had a love-at-first-sight moment when he took Brittney out for their first date to a sushi restaurant. Going out for sushi became one of their favorite things to do. Neil even proposed to Brittney after going out for sushi!  She thought she was just going out for the evening, but little did she know that when they got back to Neil’s that he had planned proposed to her on one knee – in front of both of their families!

On the other hand, Brittney took a little longer to fall in love with Neil .   For Brittney , she describes that she fell in love the way you fall asleep – slowly, then all at once.   But, once Brittney fell, she says that she cannot remember a day when she did not love.

Surrounded by family and friends who are very special to this couple, they decided to incorporate a shell ceremony involving all theirs guests.   Each guest was given a seashell and asked to make a wish for the couple.   The shells were then collected and placed in a vase as a memento of this day.

After the ceremony, the couple and their guests enjoyed dinner and dancing at one of my favorite restaurants in Pismo Beach .   To coordinate with the color scheme, the pastry chef made a beautiful cake such a special addition to the celebration! This was a special day for the two of them and will remember Pismo Beach and their wedding.
