Margo Dodd Gazebo Small Wedding – Brian and Dawn

All weddings are very special, but this one had an added touch that was so meaningful to both the bride and her mother.   You see, her mother played the flute as the bride walked down the aisle.   This bride actually learned to play the flute while in middle school, using her mom’s flute. So this added a very personal note, as the melody drifted in the air.

The groom was so handsome, dressed in his Navy dress blues as he awaited his bride.   The bride was equally stunning in her ivory dress and her beautiful strawberry blond long hair, as she approached the gazebo, escorted by her father.   And neither of them stopped smiling throughout the ceremony and the photo session – though a tear did slip down her check as she said her vows.

Another special touch was when the bride’s nephew brought the rings to his Aunt Dee Dee, and gave her a kiss on the cheek.   So sweet!

This couple’s wish for their future is that they continue to grow closer with each day, and that they continue to make many new memories in their future.   They someday want to have their first home together, surrounded by children, and to grow old together.   My wish is that they continue to make new memories, sprinkled with both laughter and tears and continue to create stories together based on all the adventures they will share.

The couple had one request for their special day.   They asked that the minister express their heartfelt appreciation to their parents for the wonderful lives their parents have given them, for the hard work and guidance they have provided, and for their everlasting love, support, and encouragement.   They said that it is from their parents that they have learned the true meaning of love, friendship, and family.
