Last week was a very busy week!  There were more weddings that normal that we coordinated.  It was a great week and all the weddings were beautiful.  There was Fall in the air and in the colors of the bride’s bouquets. All guests were sharply dressed and helped the couple celebrate their I dos.  As the year comes to an end I am taking a few days to sit back and reflect on the weddings of the year.  When I do this, I think about 2016 and start planning to marry more happy couples.

I first started with a little down time for me.  I treated myself to a relaxing foot massage.  I sure needed that with all the walking, moving, and shaking I did last week.  I was also able to clear my mind and focus on L-O-V-E. I had been wanting to change the logo a little. I played around with some new fonts and worked with my designer to create a new, modern logo design. I kept the starfish since that is a perfect image of what we do – love by the beach!  Next, I focused on the photos on the website. I really wanted to showcase all the beautiful weddings. I wish I could have posted pictures of ALL of the couples but there were certain photos that really spoke to me this year.  With a lot of our couples coming from out of town I needed to show them the beauty in our coastline.  My next task is to take a look at our packages and what we offer.  Stay tuned for new and exciting things happening in 2016.  I’ll share that I’m thinking about offering a music package with the larger weddings. Music always helps to create the mood and why not help to create a romantic mood from the start.

I’m looking forward to Halloween and dressing up my daughter in her first Halloween costume. Halloween was always one of my favorite holidays.  I liked getting dressed up in costumes and how the air always turned crisp the night of Halloween.  I just hope I don’t break into the bag of candy I just bought – I sure hope I have will power!!!

Next week I’ll tackle the last part of website with the packages and give things one more look.  This little break has been nice and will get things going on the right foot for next year.  The holidays are the best time for engagements.  I would know since my husband proposed to me right before Thanksgiving.
