This time of year is one to reflect on what we are thankful for.  I am really getting into the holiday spirit this year and was proud that I did my Thanksgiving day shopping early!  Now, let’s hope I get the cooking prep done early too.🙂

I am thankful that I have an opportunity to bring love and joy to the hearts of the couples we marry.  I consider myself a people person and like to interact with others and put a smile on their face. So many brides are stressed out from the planning of their weddings.  I remember one bride say she had a large wedding planned and had to cancel it because of the pressures of family, I had another couple travel from across the US to get married because they wanted to escape everyone telling them how their wedding should be, and I had another bride tell me she knew she wanted to get married but didn’t know where to start.  One of the reasons why I have this business is because I can understand where the brides are coming from.  I planned a friend’s wedding on a limited budget and short time frame, plus I planned my wedding, which turned out being a large event to us finally saying I do with a small intimate wedding (so much better!!).

I am also thankful for my wonderful staff! Without them, I would not be able to give the couples the wedding they dream about.  Lynda, our minister takes time to put together a ceremony that captures the couples hopes for their future.  Julie provides lifelong memories with the photos.  Adrianne make sure the ceremony details and put together before the guests arrive.  So, team, I am THANKFUL for you!

Finally, I am thankful for all the couple out there who trusted Coastal California Weddings to coordinate their special day.Thank you to all the couples!

I look forward to next year and making more couple’s wishes come true.

Looking to have a beautiful beach wedding? Have a San Simeon elopement or small wedding. There's a perfect location where you can stay and say I do. The sandy beaches at sunset are the perfect backdrop for your San Simeon small wedding. While you are having your San Simeon honeymoon, stop by Hearst Castle or venture up Highway 1 towards Big Sure.
