Wedding in Pismo Beach – Dianne and Robert –

Not only was it a bright, sunny day at the beach, but the location for this wedding was dressed up with yellow chair sashes, shells and starfish marking the path, an arch with yellow sunflowers and touches of white and yellow accent flowers. The bride chose a bouquet of sunflowers, feverfew, roses, and mums.   This fairytale wedding was over a year in the making, so the bride had time to plan all the extra touches that made her day so special.   Her darling niece, also dressed in yellow, was her flower girl and her adorable nephew was the ring bearer.   Accompanying her down the aisle were her both of her parents, as the groom waited for her under the arch.  One of the most important photos for the bride was for the groom to see her reaction. I could tell that under those sunglasses he shed a tear of happiness – for this was the start of their new life together.

This intimate wedding with family and friends was so very special, as the guests shared in this joyful, happy occasion.   The bride’s brother traveled all the way from Texas for this happy day.  A few passersby who were strolling along the beach stopped their beach walk and paused to watch as the wedding took place in the sand at Pismo Beach, with the pier in the background.

After the wedding, the couple joined their family and friends for a luncheon at one of Pismo’s best seafood restaurant – a perfect ending to a memorable day.   Hopefully, the couple will return here often to recapture the moment when they said “I do” and exchanged rings.   In the meantime, they can always look at their photos and remember all the events of the day – from the walk down the aisle, to the first glance, and finally to the first kiss.
