Pismo Beach Elopement

Though this couple has said that they have weathered many storms together, today it was clear sailing for them – a perfect morning for a wedding.   The ocean as a backdrop, gulls in the air, and cresting waves providing music in the background made the perfect setting for a “toes in the sand” elopement ceremony.   And, to top that, this bride and groom were entertained with a display of fireworks from the Pismo Beach pier at dusk, as their wedding day drew to a close.  

Yes, they were married on the 4 ^th of July!   And what a celebration they had. By looking at the beach, you would think it was an ordinary day in Pismo.  But we got up early for a morning elopement with this couple.  The tide was perfect for a wedding on the beach here.  It was a very special ceremony for the two of them as they exchanged their vows and pledged their love to each other.  

Their commitment to one another coupled with their love and friendship will surely help them to honor their wedding vows so that the days ahead will be filled with happiness and contentment.   May they continue to value, comfort, and respect each other and appreciate even the little things in life.   And, may God continue to bless them as their love grows stronger with each day.

I will have to add that the bride and I had a ton of fun doing a trash the dress photo session after the ceremony!  She was even daring enough to get up on a rock with the tide coming in so I could get a picture of her there. It still is one of my favorite photos today!
